The best experience ever! I must admit, was skeptical at first, since we live in Rocklin (north of Sacramento) and the seller was in the San Francisco Bay Area, however I was extremely amazed by the professionalism of this company.

Nethaniel called me direct to congratulate me on the owner's bid acceptance, that same day. He also answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable, putting me at ease with the process of product testing (by their guys) prior to picking it up - as well as their policies in case something was not right with product.

Uriel then arranged with owner for pick-up, which was literally done the next day, and the following day I had my treadmill at my door. Professionally brought into my garage space and tested. Communicated with me prior to arrival, with correct ETA (actually coming an hour earlier - to beat the traffic).

Everything was fantastic all the way thru in the process - and I can't recommend this company's services and products. HIGHLY recommend using this company for your sports equipment.

This service is great. I had been looking at used Pelotons on facebook marketplace for a while, but was worried I would pay for one that wouldn’t work, and I was also worried that it would get damaged during transport. This service solved both those problems. I was able to bid on a bike and get a rate that was competitive with the rates on facebook marketplace. Of note, shipping is $150+ mileage, which I did not see clearly posted on their site. So just keep that in mind when making your bids.
I’m very happy that I have a like-new peloton for a good price and didn’t have to leave my home to get it.

Highly recommend! I recently sold my 2023 Tonal through them and the entire experience was great. The staff was fantastic from start to finish. Once a buyer was interested they facilitated the sale quickly and easily. They were able to schedule for pick-up within a few days with zero hiccups. They paid the agreed upon amount during pick up as soon as they verified the equipment was fully functioning. Oh, and did I mention I'm halfway across the country? These guys aren't joking when they say it's white glove service. I could not have asked for a better experience. Had the best experience with them!! Got such a good deal on the peloton bike. Came in great condition and was door to door service. Norman was amazing— he helped set up the bike completely, made sure it was working and balanced perfectly. Really took his time to make sure everything was good and even shared some Peloton tips. Could not recommend enough!!! If you’re looking to buy a bike or a treadmill for reasonable price definitely do through Commonplace!!! So easy and hassle free!

Absolutely great experience getting my Peloton Tread+!! Nethaniel walked me through the process - I was a little nervous about it making such a big purchase without testing the equipment myself. He reassured me my purchase was secure which was a huge relief. Uriel reached out within minutes of purchase and delivery was set up same day for the following week (over 300 miles away and totally reasonable). There was zero ghosting/back and forth/weird requests for bank info typically found on FB marketplace! The peloton bike arrives standard with clip in pedals.

The pedals can be replaced with flat pedals if you order them separately.

What’s the difference between Gen 1, 2, 3, and Bike+ Peloton bikes?

Gen 1: Oldest model; Peloton has discontinued class streaming on this version. Slower performance and outdated screen tech.

Delivery starts at $150 and is calculated at checkout based on the distance between the buyer and seller.

We offer white glove service, which means our team handles pickup, transport, and full in-home setup — so you don’t lift a finger.

Warranty: Do you offer a warranty on products?

Yes, we offer a 12-month extended warranty on some products that you can purchase at checkout. If anything goes wrong during that time, our service team will come to repair the poduct. If it can’t be fixed, we’ll replace it with another gently used item—hassle free.

How do bids work?

For Buyers: You can place bids on specific listings or on entire product categories (like “Peloton Tread”). When a category-wide bid is placed, any seller with a matching item within that location can choose to accept it. If your bid is accepted, you’ll be notified and can review the listing and condition and finalize the purchase.

For Sellers: You’ll see any bids placed under your listings. You can accept a bid at any time to send it to the buyer for review. If a buyer places a category-wide bid and your item matches, you can accept that offer and initiate the purchase process.

How can I cancel/edit my listings?

Go to your dashboard located in the top right corner of your screen and navigate to “My listings.” You can press the pencil icon update details or the trash icon to remove the listing entirely.

What is the return policy?

All sales are final, however, our buyer protection ensures full coverage if the item does not meet the described condition, or is damaged during transit. You can inspect, test, and use your product upon delivery. If anything is wrong at that time, we’ll swap it out for free. After delivery, products are no longer eligible for returns or swaps.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations are subject to a 10% restocking fee. However, if your order hasn’t arrived within 2 weeks, you can cancel for a full refund—no fee.
