Buying a used hot tub
A used hot tub is one of the few big-ticket secondhand buys where the item is genuinely hard to judge and genuinely hard to move. The shell outlives the equipment, so a fifteen-year-old tub can look immaculate and still need a pump, and almost nobody selling one privately can tell you which it is.
Every hot tub here has been inspected before it ships, arrives on a truck with a crew who set it up, and carries a 60-day parts warranty. Labor coverage is available as an add-on. The prices below come from our own listings, so you can see what a given brand actually goes for before you start looking.

Where these hot tubs are
Hot tubs are listed in the states below, and we deliver anywhere in the continental US, so the nearest one is rarely the only one you can buy.
Common questions
How much does a used hot tub cost?
Most list between roughly $3,000 and $9,000, with entry-level and inflatable models below that and swim spas well above. Brand matters more than age: a ten-year-old Hot Spring or Master Spas typically lists higher than a five-year-old value-brand tub.
Is it worth buying a used hot tub?
It is, provided you know the condition of the equipment rather than just the shell. A hot tub is the classic case where the cosmetic condition and the mechanical condition are unrelated, which is why every one here is run under load and inspected before it ships.
How do you deliver a hot tub?
The seller drains it and has it disconnected before pickup. A crew then handles the move: loading at the seller, transport, and placement at your home. We deliver anywhere in the continental US from where the item sits, so you are not limited to what happens to be listed in your metro.
What if something is wrong with it when it arrives?
Every hot tub carries a free 60-day parts warranty. Labor coverage is available as an add-on. You pay the balance on delivery rather than up front. You hold the item for $1 and the rest is due once it is in place.
How long does a used hot tub last?
The shell commonly lasts 20 years or more, while pumps, heaters and control packs are wear items measured in years, not decades. That is the reason the inspection concentrates on the equipment bay rather than the finish.
